The
structures in the pelvis such as prostate, uterus and
cervix, bladder and rectum can be well demonstrated by
MRI.
Because MRI can take cross sectional images in any plane it allows a much clearer
delineation of the anatomy in this area.
Patients
for pelvis MRI scans will need to
be able to lie fairly flat.
Scan
times may vary depending upon
the individual case.
