Lodestone Patient Care, together with the Royal National
Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) NHS Trust has set up a Fellowship
in Musculoskeletal Radiology – the only one of
its kind in London.
The Fellowship provides specialist training in a number
of key areas in musculoskeletal radiology:
•
Specialist reporting of MRI
•
Musculoskeletal ultrasound
•
Advanced percutaneous interventional techniques
•
Scientific research
The Lodestone/RNOH fellowship has been running for two
years already, with the first fellow having successfully
graduated in 2005 and the second fellow already well
into the programme.
It is the first musculoskeletal fellowship set up by
a private radiology company and boasts at being the only
one of its kind in London. In fact, there are only three
other centres nationally offering full time musculoskeletal
radiology fellowships. Both Lodestone Patient Care and
the RNOH are proud to be associated with the continuing
professional development of radiologists in the UK. The
fellowship provides training for successful candidates
from leading international experts in the field who are
based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS
Trust.
The training takes place on a 1:1 basis with the tutors,
offering the fellow unrivalled attention and quality
of education throughout the programme.
The Musculoskeletal
fellowship is an adaptable course, which fits the needs
of each fellow in all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology.
